2022 was the sixth Little Cinema & Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge, and it was the first Challenge to take place in person after Lockdown. A new rule was incorporated where teams had to include a special shot type in their film, a dutch angle.
The Best Film Award went to The Unmentionablés with their film Juniper, captained by Lakshika Serasinhe.
