2018 was the second Little Cinema & Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge, and we introduced 4 new categories of awards for the challenge: Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Actress, Best Actor.
We also introduced extra criteria to be included into the film to make the challenge more difficult, so each team had to include a Prop, a Line and a genre.
The Best Film Award went to Team Timo, captained by Ronnie Quinlan, which featured Conor Quinlan and Kerry Quinlan.
Other awards as judged by a team of industry professionals were as followed:

Best Cinematogrpahy – Kamil Krawczak – Connection Interrupted
Best Actor – Barry Richardson – The Man Who Went for One
Best Actress – Yvette Picque – A Better Option
Best Editing – Olimpia Ardaldi – A Better Option
