June 2018 Recap

Hello again, welcome back to our monthly Little Cinema recap! Hope you’ve all been out enjoying this unbelievable weather, we’ve certainly been making the most of it. Thanks to all the filmmakers who submitted their films for June’s screening, it was a fabulous mix of shorts. If you missed it, here are the links to those films currently available online.

    Bleached Blonde, the first single from Dott’s eagerly awaited sophomore album “Heart Swell”, out on Gravfeface Records on June 8th.

  2. Breakfast & Belongings, submitted by Kacper Krysinski

    Two old friends who’ve had a falling out come face to face over breakfast.

  3. One Minute Film Collection, submitted by Last Minute Collective

    A collection of one minute films from various members of the Last Minute Collective.


  4.  Roses, submitted by Luke Morgan

    A man struggles with a bunch of roses which almost drive him to the edge.

  5. I’ve Been Dreaming, submitted by Liza Bolton

  6. Multiple award winner at the  London Music Video 48 Hour challenge, including  Audience Award, Best Song, Best Film and Best Director.
  7. The Hollywood Set, submitted by Michael Patrick Breen

  8. This first time, experimental film was shot over two days in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Pasadena and La Canada. Starring Karen Kahler, Michael Patrick Breen, and the Los Angeles Irish Set Dancers.

    Dungeons and Donuts , submitted by Gordon Hudson

  2. A documentary about a gaming cafe in Galway City, famous for its incredible donuts and a vibrant, welcoming community.


Thanks again to all the submitters, and to everyone who came along to show their support on the night. We’ll be taking a wee break for summer, but we’ll be back to regular screenings again in August so make sure to follow our social media to keep up to date.
